The Shopping Arcades of London

The Victorian era was a time and place where the need for a more enjoyable form of shopping led to the creation of department stores like Harrods or Selfridges and also to the building of the arcades.

All three of the Arcades are in the heart of Mayfair with The Palace, The Mall, Green Park, St James Square and St James Park all within a short walk of the arcades. It’s a great part of the city to just explore on foot as well.
